Inspirational Quote Book Project

During the semester, you will gather a collection of quotes from the Apostles. The quotes will be grouped into 10 categories that have special meaning, relevance, or curiosity to you. Create a book with quotes that pertain to you from the readings, talks, articles, writings, or devotionals by the Apostles that we study this semester. Your book of quotes should become more than “just an assignment” for this class. If done well, it can and will become a personal guide. It will be a constant source of inspiration and study for you. Take time and grasp the “spirit” of the book, which will be a guide and strength in your life. It will do more than help you succeed in this course: it will help you in your education, decisions, talks, lessons, callings, and other responsibilities.

The book should consist of ten topics. Four topics will be assigned to you. You will choose the remaining six from a list of topics that you and your classmates will generate during Lesson 1. The four assigned topics for the class are: family, Atonement, agency, and pornography.  By the end of the semester, each topic should contain a minimum of ten related quotes. Of the ten topics, you will select one as your own “personal application” topic. Put emphasis on this topic, set personal goals related to it, and keep track of your personal progress.
